some research and some from returning student/teachers from India.
Yoga gives a great workout to the body. It increases the flexibility of the joints.
Stretches the muscle fibbers. Opens and expands the fascia. Therefore removes the
trapped toxins in the muscles increasing oxygen in the body and brain.
Yoga is performed with full awareness. It requires engaging mind along with the
body. Mind keeps the body under constant observation.
Frustration is when mind moves fast and body cannot keep up the pace. This creates
tension in the body, if you do not take care of it, it (tension) builds up, and finally
body will give way to physical and metal disorders. Compromising the immunity.
One cannot do YOGA without being mindful. This is a meditation in action. Body
stays healthy; mind stays alert and function with clarity.
Yoga builds strong bones, strengthens muscles and mind stays alert. This in turn
keeps all the functions of the body running in harmony, including the endocrine
system. Keeps the immunity high, therefore healthy body seeks only healthy food.
Nutrition gets absorbed properly and no worries about counting the calories!

TaiChi is a Chinese art of creating wellness. It consists of slow continuous mindful
movements of body. It helps to create balance and strength In the body. Calms the
mind. Just as in yoga it will help create density of bones.
