Rebecca Kaye, Child Physical Therapist

As a physical therapist working primarily with children, I have utilized yoga breathing techniques to enhance my therapeutic intervention. Combining the breathing with my hands on techniques has allowed children with tightness and spasticity, caused from neurological problems, to gain a greater range of motion and stretch with less strain and resistance. It seems that my breathing rhythm has a calming effect on them and, in turn, they allow me to achieve these results.
